New Cover Reveal Date!

I have a NEW cover reveal date! It will be FEBRUARY 6, 2014 instead of the seventh. I just wanted to let everyone know =) 

Again, if you're interested in helping share the cover on that day, just let me know! I'd love all the shares I can get on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Blogs - ANYWHERE!

I'll keep everyone posted! I'm hoping to release my book in March or April. I'll have a set release date after I get my edits back from my editor.

Cover Reveal Date!

I Have a Set Date for my COVER REVEAL!

I cannot wait to share the cover of my debut novel "RUSH INTO YOU" with everyone! I'm just so excited! My cover reveal will be on February 7, 2014! That's such a short time away. I would love all the help I can get to share my cover with the world, so if you have a blog, Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Pinterest...pretty much anything that you can share with...let me know if you want to help with the reveal! 

I'll tell you right now: the cover is BEAUTIFUL! I worked with two of the most talented ladies in the world, Sarah Hansen of Okay Creations and Toski Covey of Toski Covey Photography!

Brand New!

I decided I wanted to create an Author Blog in preparation for my debut novel's release. I tried to create one on WordPress, but I can honestly say I didn't keep up with it. I have a Book Blog here on Blogger, and I am more comfortable with it's style.

For those of you who don't know, my book blog is Brianna Lee Book Reviews. I promote authors and their books every day. I participate in many blog tours, cover reveals, release events, giveaways, and more. I review books as well, though I'm not currently taking review requests. I'm trying to write my own book, and I need to concentrate on that. I do make sure I always support authors with at least a promo post, though!

In 2013, I finally started writing a book. It's a New Adult Contemporary Romance novel. I always wanted to write a story, but I was always too nervous to do it, and just never thought that I could. One day, a scene came to me and I just started typing. I finished the first draft of my novel in December.

The title of my book is "RUSH INTO YOU". By clicking that link, you'll be directed to Goodreads where you can read the blurb. That blurb is not final, but I wanted something there for people to get an idea of what my book is about.

"Rush Into You" is in the hands of my editor. I should be getting it back soon. I also got feedback from two beta readers, and I'm waiting on the third one's feedback. They gave me great advice and their opinion is seriously invaluable to me. I'm so grateful for them. I'm self editing my novel now as well. I actually rewrote the first two chapters, and I love them so much more now. I'm going through each chapter in hopes of making them everything I intended them to be. It's a lot of work, but it's pretty amazing watching it come together.

Pretty soon I'll have the cover to my book. "Rush Into You" is having its cover done by the amazingly talented Sarah Hansen of Okay Creations. If you know her work, you know that my cover is going to be phenomenal. I had a professional photographer (Toski Covey Photography) take photos for my cover. This means that NO ONE will have the same cover as me! It will be original, and I'm going to love it. I can't wait to share it with you guys. It'll probably be ready by the end of January or early February.

If everything goes the way I plan it to, I should be releasing my book sometime in February or March. We'll see how long the edits take. I plan on signing up for blog tours, cover reveals, and release events. I'll also send out a few ARCs to book reviewers for early and honest opinions. 

Everything is just so surreal. I can't believe all the pieces are finally coming together, and I will have a book published! I plan on self publishing and joining team INDIE! 

I look forward to sharing everything with you guys! I'll update my work progress here on my NEW author blog, but remember, I'll have book recommendations and other fun stuff going on at my book blog.
